New Bundle of Joy: The Stork Club Boston Opens in the South End

Although Bostonians are always jazzed with the prospect of a new nightlife venue, the Stork Club Boston is actually making beautiful music in the South End.  Located near the intersection of Columbus and Massachusetts Ave, the Stork Club offers live jazz, blues and moderately priced cuisine.

Paul McCartney Concert Paints Boston Red, White and Blue

by mean daddy, Flickr

Last night Paul McCartney wrapped up the Boston portion of his touring extravaganza.  According to one of our savvy spotters, he decided to paint the town red, white and blue by launching confetti into the air during his two encores.  Apparently the confetti also went on a touring extravaganza of its own – not only through Fenway Park, but down Comm. Ave as well!

Sadly this SavvyBostonian missed the show, but imagine it must have been quite the party for the lucky concert goers!  Might not have been so fun for the city of Boston to clean up afterward, but I think the city is probably used to gobs of confetti at this point after so many victory parades :).
