There are some times in life where you have “pinch me” moments. Not too long after moving to London, I was presented with an opportunity to go to Miami. With visions of warm weather, I jumped at the chance.
Here are a few highlights from my trip.
South Beach Miami and A Classic Car Show I spent a day soaking up the sun (well, not sure how much I soaked up with my 55+ SPF!) on the famed South Beach. It was lovely and I definitely noticed quite a few enviously toned physiques that the area is known for. We were also delighted to discover a classic car show on Collins Ave., offering an unexpected, but very fun activity!
Miami & Biscayne Bay Sightseeing Cruise A splurge of the trip was chartering a boat for our group to see Miami and Biscayne Bay from the water – including celebrity homes. Unfortunately the weather was not as warm as the day prior on South Beach, but that did not stop some of our more intrepid friends from paddle boarding and jumping in the water where permitted! Unfortunately, I forget which company we used, but here’s a sense of what we did.
All in all, I had a lovely time in Miami. Sometimes a little warm weather and sunshine is all you need to break up the winter blues!
