Holiday Gift Ideas From John Lewis, Primark, Oliver Bonas, The White Company, Boots Mini Club, Flying Tiger

It’s that time of year! The time when we try to find the perfect gift for everyone on our list. Inspired by a few items I recently purchased in London, here are a few cute gift ideas from John Lewis, Primark, Oliver Bonas, Boots Mini Club, and Flying Tiger.

Disclaimer – if you are a member of my family…do not read this post!

Gift Idea #1: For The So Very British Fan

This one was for the white elephant (yankee swap) with my visa group. I’m here in the UK on a special visa and we have a group that gets together regularly through it. As none of us are from the UK (otherwise we wouldn’t need a UK visa ha ha ha), I thought a cute London bus ornament for £13, combined with a funny card game about “How awkwardly British are you?” for £8.99 would be equal parts useful and fun. I picked these both up at John Lewis.

Gift Idea #2: For The Person Who Loves A Cozy & Festive Home

I love these little mercury glass candle holders from The White Company in London. I bought two of the smaller ones, which adds a festive sparkle to my dinner table. Unfortunately, the small ones are no longer available on The White Company website, so I’ve linked to the larger £15 one, which makes for a great gift on its own! Just add a candle in and you’re done! Here are the winter scented tea lights I picked up for £15 and a set of vanilla scented tea lights from Waitrose (Primark, where I got mine, doesn’t sell online) for a whopping £1! Waitrose also does a great 4-pack of LED tea lights (flameless) for £5.

Gift Idea #3: For The Eco-Chic On-The-Go Person

I’ve been wanting a glass water bottle for ages! I’m that girl that always needs a bottle of water in her handbag and as a result, I’m conscious of how many mini water bottles I’ve been buying or re-using. As I was hunting for Christmas gifts, I saw this glass bottle from Oliver Bonas for £14 and immediately scooped it up for myself. And yes, it’s dishwasher safe. You’re allowed to buy yourself Christmas gifts, right!?

Gift Idea #4: For The Coffee, Tea or Hot Cocoa Lover

Another present for myself! With my current coffee mugs in a sad state, I couldn’t resist these cute ceramic mugs from Flying Tiger at £2 each. They’re both dishwasher and microwave safe. I’ll give them a try and see if they hold up! Unfortunately, Flying Tiger does not sell online, so you must try your luck in store. To make these a gift, add in coffee, tea and/or hot cocoa and even topping bits for hot cocoa, a flavored syrup for coffee or a special honey for tea and it really rounds it out.

Gift Idea #5: For The Budding Fashionista

As it turns out, my little niece (she’s 1 and a half) wants a “real” handbag. Not a toy handbag or something actually made for a girl her age. Nope. A real one! I saw this cute little handbag in the girl’s section at Primark and scooped it up for her. At £6, I liked how it is the size and shape of a “real” handbag but is completely empty inside. So many little girls handbags are cross-body and that seems dangerous for her, so this seems both safe and chic. Let’s see how it goes over! Unfortunately, Primark does not sell online. Try your luck in store!

Gift Idea #6: For The Cold & Snowy Adventurer

Another one for my little niece. When I was in Boots, I saw this adorable little winter cap with two pom poms on the top and had to have it. It’s so soft and well-made – and the price at £8 cannot be beaten! In general, the clothes from Boots Mini Club line are really good and very affordably priced.
